Wildlife Valley Ranch has an active Property Owner’s Association that assists with the 1D1 Wildlife Tax Exemption program. The property’s water system, road easements, and the Annual Game Biologist Surveys are all covered by the POA annual dues.

Water is the key to a thriving wildlife population in the Edwards Plateau and this ranch has made it a priority. There are three major storage tanks, holding over 5,000 gallons of water, that are distributed to eight water troughs strategically placed throughout the ranch. This capacity is in line with the sizing of the feeders, allowing a generous amount of time between trips without going dry. Water is supplied to the ranch from the Silverhorn POA water system, which is a shared resource from a network of four wells that contain over 30,000 gallons of base storage capacity and are consistently maintained.

The entire ranch gently slopes down about 120 feet in elevation through two large draws towards the northeast corner. Over 23± acres of cedar have been removed over the last two years and the native flora is starting to come back nicely. The ranch also has miles of roads and trails which connect the cleared areas and allow the wildlife to move freely. Whitetail, axis, Aoudad, Sika, Fallow deer, quail, turkey, and dove are all found in abundance on the property. Numerous top-quality deer stands and feeders have been placed around the ranch, making it ready for great hunts from day one.
