Wayne McQuaid’s roots trace back to Waco, Texas, though he spent his formative years on the outskirts of Houston, surrounded by open pastures and woodlands that fueled his love for the outdoors. From a young age, Wayne immersed himself in hunting and fishing, cherishing moments spent in the wilderness with his faithful Brittany Spaniel, Sox, by his side. Despite a somewhat free-spirited upbringing, Wayne pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State).

In 1998, Wayne made a bold move, leaving behind a corporate career with Dr Pepper in Dallas to return to his beloved Wimberley, Texas, with his family. Armed with determination and a passion for the land, Wayne obtained his real estate license and subsequently his broker’s license in 2007. His innate affinity for the land led him to specialize in farm and ranch sales, where his expertise shines in recreational properties with agricultural components.

Throughout his 26-year tenure in the industry, Wayne’s commitment to integrity, authenticity, and exceptional client service has been unwavering. He possesses an intimate knowledge of the Texas Hill Country, garnered from decades of personal and professional experience in the region. Wayne’s journey has taken him across state lines, as he also holds broker’s licenses in Montana and Michigan. Though he briefly indulged his love for the mountains in Montana, the pull of family ultimately brought him back to Texas, where he continues to thrive in his role as a trusted advisor in the farm and ranch sales industry.
